The Dow broke 11000 at one point today. Times are hard in the stock market. I found a way to make myself feel better. Typically trading psychologists/behaviorists say you should never check the stock price of a stock you've sold. No looking backwards. But today after a really crappy week in the stock market I say it's okay to look up companies you've sold.
You've sold stock to take profits, or out of fear it's going down, or because you wanted to move your capital elsewhere. Look up the stock quote of those sold companies today. You're likely to see they're down a lot. You made a good call!
Anyone else have tricks to beat the stock market blues?
